In your message, please share some initial information about your wedding and, most importantly, your wedding date.We will then arrange a complimentary consultation to get to know each other. I am always happy to meet you in person, but we can also arrange a video call if meeting in person is not possible.If we both feel that we are a good fit, we will meet for a more detailed initial consultation, which can take up to three hours. For me, this is one of the most important conversations in the entire planning process. It is when you tell me your story and share your wishes, ideas and dreams for your wedding day.Together, we define how you would like me to support you and which aspects of your wedding I will plan and coordinate. We discuss which wedding suppliers you have already booked and which ones you still need, whether you already have a particular wedding venue in mind, your preferences for flowers, food and drinks, and many other details.After this meeting, I will prepare a detailed and personalised quote for you. Once you have accepted and signed it, I can begin planning your wedding.Throughout the planning process, we will meet in person when needed, while much of our communication will take place by phone and email. You can contact me with any questions or concerns at any time during the planning period.Contracts with wedding suppliers are signed directly by you rather than by me. However, I take care of the communication and coordination with the suppliers involved and make sure that everyone receives the information relevant to them.Shortly before your wedding, I create a detailed wedding day schedule containing everything needed for the smooth running of your celebration. This includes precise timings, planned programme elements, contact details and all other important information. I recommend contacting me as soon as you have decided to get married and have set a date for your wedding.Ideally, you should get in touch around 12 to 18 months before your wedding date. This gives us plenty of time to plan and organise your dream wedding.Popular venues and wedding suppliers are often booked well in advance.However, depending on how flexible you are with your wedding date, the number of guests and your overall wishes, a wedding can also be planned and organised within a shorter timeframe.So even if your wedding date is already approaching, I would still be delighted to support you as your wedding planner.
